With AI firms in a transition from fast-paced expansion to the hard work of building operational capacity, Tiger Analytics has made the decision to put Prakash Arunachalam at the helm of its next chapter of global growth. In his new role as Global Head of Operations, carrying the weight of a COO mandate, Arunachalam will be tasked with steering the company forward.
Why Tiger Analytics Is Strengthening Its Leadership Now
It is an apt time for the advanced analytics and AI firm to make such an appointment. With plans to scale up globally, put more muscle into profitability and agility, and lay the groundwork for an IPO down the road, the firm needs the right leadership. The hiring of a senior executive of Arunachalam’s calibre is indicative of that intent; it is a statement of purpose to build the kind of operational base that can underpin long-term growth, M&A activity and the prospect of becoming a public company.
A Mandate Built Around Scale, Efficiency and Growth
Arunachalam’s charge is to see that Tiger Analytics’ service delivery and global operations are as efficient and agile as possible. He will be looking after the bottom line and driving business growth, but a central element of the job will be to put in place the governance and capabilities necessary for a potential move to the public markets.

The Experience Behind Arunachalam’s Appointment
One need only look at Arunachalam’s resume to see why he was chosen. His background is replete with leadership tenures at major global technology outfits. At Servion Global Solutions, where he was on the Board as well as President and COO, he guided the firm through considerable transformation and growth, not least in navigating acquisitions with two private equity partners.
Before that, his time at Polaris and Virtusa saw him running large P&Ls and sales organisations, heading up global teams and forging partnerships with hyperscalers. He has deep exposure to the BFSI space and to digital CX, automation and AI. Having been on both sides of the Atlantic in listed companies in the US and India, he offers the sort of financial and operational viewpoint that is vital as Tiger Analytics cements its position as a full-stack AI entity.
What the Move Means for Tiger Analytics
Co-founded by Mahesh Kumar and Pradeep Gulipalli, Tiger Analytics has built a client book of Fortune 1000 names in sectors from healthcare to retail, offering everything from data strategy to AI/ML solutions. Gulipalli has noted that Arunachalam’s track record of managing large P&Ls and high-performing teams in listed firms is exactly what is called for in this next phase.
Arunachalam sees the role as an ambitious one, citing a “refreshingly unique culture” at Tiger Analytics as he sets about his work to drive the M&A agenda and prepare for an IPO. The message from the appointment is unambiguous: Tiger Analytics is moving into a more institutional mode of growth, where sound governance and operational heft will be every bit as critical as its AI prowess.
