With an eye on $50 billion in annual revenue next year, Salesforce is turning a new page in its growth narrative. The company will have Dreamforce 2026 as the stage from which to demonstrate just how integral AI has become to its enterprise software approach.
Salesforce’s $50 Billion Ambition Comes With an AI Strategy
The financials are already moving in that direction. After posting a 10% year-over-year increase to hit $41.5 billion in FY26, Salesforce has put its FY27 guidance in the $46.1 to $46.4 billion range. But for CRM customers there is more to it than the figures; the firm is making a case for its platform as the nexus of governance, business workflows and customer data, regardless of where an employee may be interacting with AI.
AIforce Brings Salesforce Data Into Claude, Slack and Beyond
A good example is the new AIforce layer. It is meant to carry Salesforce’s permissions, data and workflows into third-party AI spaces. This covers Claudeforce for Anthropic’s Claude and Slackforce for the messaging app. On top of that, the company is building out its Lightning AI interface with offerings like Agentforce Coworker, an AI built to be an employee’s partner.
Agentforce Coworker Shows How Enterprises Are Putting AI to Work
There is clear enterprise appetite for this kind of tooling. In the first 35 days of a pilot, Agentforce Coworker had 100,000 active users. Fulton Bank, for instance, went from nothing to over 20 production use cases for some 3,000 people in a matter of weeks. It is a way for Salesforce to stay the system of record while letting AI be the means by which work gets done.

Koa Gives Salesforce a CRM-Specific Reasoning Model
Then there is Koa, the first of its kind in CRM reasoning models. A joint effort with NVIDIA on the Nemotron 3 Super, Koa was post-trained via reinforcement learning and supervised fine-tuning on synthetic data drawn from 27 years of Salesforce deployments; no customer data was involved.
Koa handles the sort of multi-step work found in CRM – routing cases, updating opportunities, running workflows – and according to the company’s own CRM Bench, it does so with three times the error rate of leading models or better. Pilots are underway with Formula 1, UChicago Medicine and others, with a U.S. general release slated for the winter of 2026.
Salesforce Expands Agentforce for More Enterprise Workflows
Salesforce is also rolling out seven new role-based Agentforce agents and has given Missionforce an upgrade for government and regulated sectors, complete with IL5 authorisation for the U.S. Department of War. All in all, the message from these moves is one of keeping business logic and data at the centre while deploying purpose-built models like Koa to ensure AI can be relied upon for complex action rather than just generic output.
