With the new CISO Command Center from Wipro and CrowdStrike, the focus is squarely on the AI-fuelled cyber risks of today.

The nature of the job for a CISO has changed. It is not enough to simply detect a higher volume of threats; one must be able to identify which ones are a genuine danger to the business and put in place countermeasures before any damage is done.

Why AI Is Changing the CISO’s Role

Enterprises are well aware of this. As AI has made attacks more autonomous and sophisticated, they are being inundated with data, tools and security alerts. The task of making sense of those signals to form a coherent view of business risk is now on par with the detection work itself.

Wipro and CrowdStrike have set out to solve that problem with their CISO Command Center, announced on September 9, 2026. The idea is to help organisations shed their reliance on a patchwork of disconnected tools in favour of an AI-native, risk-led model capable of dealing with frontier threats.

What the two firms are putting forward is a simple proposition: provide CISOs with a consolidated perspective on security and convert raw data into actionable intelligence so responses can be made at machine speed.

From Tool Sprawl to a Risk-Centric Security Model

The Command Center is meant to be a fundamental shift in how an enterprise handles cyber resilience. By unifying visibility over endpoint and cloud security, exposure management and AI, it replaces the old way of managing cybersecurity with an operating model that is in step with business priorities.

CISOs will have a single vantage point for everything from devices and servers to cloud identities and configurations, as well as the vulnerabilities and attack surfaces that come with them, including those posed by AI agents and workloads. All of this is housed in a modern SOC where detection and response are one and the same.

Inside the AI-Native CISO Command Center

Under the hood, the offering is a blend of the CrowdStrike Falcon® platform and Wipro Intelligence™ solutions. While Falcon supplies the telemetry and response layer for endpoint, identity, cloud and AI security, Wipro’s CyberTransform™ and CyberShield™ handle the governance, processes and managed protection side of things.

Turning Cybersecurity Signals Into Business Risk

For a board or executive, technical security events need to be translated into something they can act upon. The Command Center does just that by cutting through alert fatigue and the sprawl of multiple data sources to highlight the risks that truly matter. It is also built to confront the latest in AI-enabled infrastructure and autonomous agents.

A Strategic Expansion of the Wipro-CrowdStrike Partnership

This launch cements the strategic tie-up between Wipro and CrowdStrike, bringing together Wipro’s consulting and managed services with the agentic AI capabilities of Falcon, such as SafeMind and Falcon IQ unveiled at Fal.Con 2026. There is also the support of Project QuiltWorks, the global coalition of which Wipro is a member, to help remediate AI risk across the ecosystem.

In an environment where the threat landscape is evolving at pace, the move is evident: away from merely managing tools and towards a prioritisation of business impact and risk.
